Hi everyone, I hope you are all well!

Just a quick blog this time.  I know a lot of readers have secret “burner” phones, I just thought I would give you a heads up (if you don’t already know), the UK Government will be testing an emergency alarm to all mobile phones on SUNDAY 23rd APRIL 2023 at 15.00.  According to www.gov.uk this is to warn us about floods, fire or extreme weather (seriously!!!……read into this what you will lol!!)

According to the Government website your mobile phone or tablet may:

• Make a loud siren-like sound, even if it’s set on silent 
• Vibrate
• Read out the alert
• The sound and vibration will last about 10 seconds.

So all you Gentlemen that have a secret phone hidden in your underwear drawer/shed/garage/car be aware that it will spring into life even if set to silent.

Emergency alerts can be turned off through your settings on your phone.
