Simply the Best!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Autumn is really kicking in now, there is a distinct chill in the air and the nights are drawing in…..where has this year gone? We will be putting our Christmas trees up, filling our stockings and waiting for Santa to come before we know it!..

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Mr P, he had seen my “luxury overnight package“ and was keen to know more about it. For those of you that don’t know, basically you give me free rein to organise a lovely afternoon and evening of treats for us to enjoy together, followed by an overnight at my Central London apartment. After asking Mr P lots of questions about his likes and dislikes, a date was set! I went to work organising a memorable date for him.

The big day arrived, Mr P arrived at my apartment in Fitzrovia looking very smart, we enjoyed a glass of bubbly together before setting off to the first treat of the day. Our Uber took us to The Cafe Royal on Regent’s Street, we were ushered to the Oscar Wilde lounge for our champagne afternoon tea. We were blown away by how beautiful the room was, full of gold leaf, cherubs and painted murals on the ceiling, all very decadent (just as I like it). We were presented with menus, the inspiration of the afternoon tea was Vincent Van Gogh. We both started with a glass of champagne and were then presented with delicate finger sandwiches and tiny pastry savouries. As it was a Vincent Van Gogh inspired tea, we both chose sunflower tea to start. Sandwiches and savouries enjoyed, we moved on to the much anticipated cakes! A change of tea, this time chocolate tea for me and a tea called “Starry Night“ for Mr P (which was actually blue! We were a bit worried that Mr P’s tongue would turn blue, but thankfully it didn’t). The cakes were so beautifully presented, a pastry easel with a chocolate cake portrait of Vincent, a cake that looked like a sunflower, all very delicate and delicious. We sat chatting whilst being serenaded by a pianist, by the time we looked at our watches, 3 hours had passed, it only seemed that we had been there a short time (we had been talking that much!), time to think about moving on to our next venue……dinner! I had chosen a quirky restaurant rather than fine dining, as I figured we would be quite full still, so I chose Sarastro. If you don’t know of it, it is in theatre land and the interior is like a theatre! We sat in a balcony seat that gave us a wonderful view of the restaurant. Both feeling a little full, we just had a glass of wine and a main course, which was very enjoyable. Next stop the theatre…….I had booked tickets to see “The Tina Turner story”, naturally I had bought excellent seats in the stalls, we thoroughly enjoyed the show, and would highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it (or go again if you have!)

Next stop back to my apartment to relax after a busy day, I lit lots of candles and my living room looked so pretty, it set a perfect atmosphere to have another glass of bubbly and discuss our lovely day. I had organised supper, but we both felt we would pop if we ate anything else! And so to bed……..

Next morning, while Mr P had a lay in and then a shower, I prepared breakfast……cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, followed by a hearty bacon baguette lol (if you haven’t guessed already, I like to ensure my guests are well fed lol). After a leisurely breakfast together Mr P bid his farewells. We had a fabulous time together……the perfect Girlfriend experience.

I took enormous pleasure in arranging this for Mr P, and I would like to thank him for entrusting me to do this for him.

Please get in touch, if you would like me to arrange a special date for you (anywhere in the country or abroad)……no two dates are the same, and they are completely tailored with you in mind.
