Hey everyone
I hope you are all well. Christmas is nearly upon us, and I’ve realised that I haven’t done a “proper” blog in ages!
The past few months I have been really busy, loads of travelling, spending time with family, friends and meeting some genuinely incredible people along the way.
My annual trip with my dear friend Maria was very much needed, I had something truly truly awful happen to me in my personal life, and a (very) wild holiday is just what was needed. My lips are very much sealed about the details (sorry lol) but let’s just say watching a wild electrical storm at sea from a balcony can be very exhilarating!
I was very lucky to be invited by my amazing friend Miss Kim Rub https://www.misskimrub.com/ to join her on an African safari. Well what an incredible time we had! I have fallen in love with Kenya, the people, the land and the wildlife. We stayed at the most incredibly beautiful lodges, and had the most unbelievable adventures, hiking with Maasai tribesmen, horse riding in the wilderness, game drives, sundowners, dinner in a cave (or a lava tube…which was spectacular), flying over Tsavo, and the most hair raising flight of my life, skimming 15 feet off the ocean on a visit the coast……..it really made you feel like you were alive, and certainly got my heart racing! Kim and I were treated like absolute Queens, our host and his staff are absolutely amazing people who do so much for the Maasai and the conservation of the wilderness, it was a privilege and an honour to meet them, they will hold a special place in my heart. Anyone looking to book a luxury safari please contact me for details, I can’t recommend it enough. The header picture for this blog is my “special place” at the lodge, overlooking the water hole, watching the animals come and go, a very healing place for me.
I have a lot of things coming up over the next few weeks, my head is spinning a bit, a possibility (or not) that I may be moving apartments, but don’t worry if it does happen (or doesn’t) I will let everyone know. I am pretty certain of my availability up until Christmas, so will update my website and socials accordingly.
I may (or maybe not) blog again before Christmas, but in case I don’t, have a fabulous Christmas spending time with the people you love and that love you xxxx
PS My blog header “West End Girl?”…I suppose I am a West end Girl, plus I am loving the titular album by Lilly Allen!…..and I couldn’t think of a blog title lol
